Colossians Chapter 2 Verse 12

Colossians 2:12

The Bible in Colossians Chapter 2 Verse 12 says:

having been buried with him in baptism, wherein ye were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.

Interpretation of Colossians Chapter 2 Verse 12

In Colossians 2:12, the Bible speaks of baptism as a symbol of death and resurrection. By being baptized, believers are united with Christ in His death and resurrection. Through faith in the working of God, who raised Christ from the dead, believers are also raised with Him. Baptism is an outward symbol of an inward transformation as believers die to their old selves and are raised to new life in Christ.
