Colossians 1:9
The Bible in Colossians Chapter 1 Verse 9 says:
For this cause we also, since the day we heard [it], do not cease to pray and make request for you, that ye may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,
Interpretation of Colossians Chapter 1 Verse 9
Paul is writing to the Colossians, reminding them of his prayers for them. He explains that since the day he heard of their faith, he has been praying and asking God to fill them with knowledge of His will, and to give them wisdom and understanding. He expresses his desire for them to live in a way that pleases God, so that they can be fruitful in their service to Him. Paul also encourages them to continue in their faith, assuring them that God will fulfill all of His promises.
