Philippians 4:15
The Bible in Philippians Chapter 4 Verse 15 says:
And ye yourselves also know, ye Philippians, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church had fellowship with me in the matter of giving and receiving but ye only;
Interpretation of Philippians Chapter 4 Verse 15
Paul is writing to the Philippians and thanking them for their generosity to him. He reminds them that when he first began to preach the Gospel, no other church provided him with any financial help or support. The Philippians were the only ones who helped him and he is grateful for their kindness and generosity. He is also grateful for their ongoing support and reminds them of his own example of generosity. Paul concludes by urging the Philippians to continue their giving and receiving, so that their joy may be complete.
