Interpretation of Philippians Chapter 1 Verse 1

Paul and Timothy, both servants of Jesus Christ, send their greetings to all the believers in Philippi, including the leaders of the church, the bishops and deacons. Paul and Timothy express their joy in the faith of the Philippians, and the love and fellowship they share with the church. They pray for the believers to be spiritually strong, and to live lives worthy of the gospel. They pray that God’s grace and peace will be with them. Paul and Timothy also thank God for the privilege of being able to share the gospel with the Philippians and the rest of the world. They pray that God will continue to use them to bring others to faith in Jesus Christ. Finally, they pray that God will use the Philippians to spread the good news of the gospel.
