Ephesians 6:17
The Bible in Ephesians Chapter 6 Verse 17 says:
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Interpretation of Ephesians Chapter 6 Verse 17
Ephesians 6:17 instructs believers to take up the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. The helmet of salvation is a spiritual protection to guard the believer against the enemy. The sword of the Spirit is the powerful word of God which is the only offensive weapon against our spiritual enemy. The word of God is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword and it is able to discern between the thoughts and intents of the heart. This verse reminds us that with faith, prayer, and the word of God, we can conquer the enemy and stand firm in our faith.
