Ephesians 4:27 commands Christians not to give any foothold to the devil by giving in to sinful desires or by allowing the devil to tempt them. Instead, Christians should put on the armor of God and stand firm against the temptations of the devil. The Bible instructs Christians to stay alert and be on the watch against the devil’s schemes, and to put on the full armor of God so that they can stand against the devil’s schemes.
