Ephesians 1:5
The Bible in Ephesians Chapter 1 Verse 5 says:
having foreordained us unto adoption as sons through Jesus Christ unto himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
Interpretation of Ephesians Chapter 1 Verse 5
In Ephesians 1:5, the Apostle Paul proclaims that God had predetermined and predestined His people to be adopted as His beloved children through Jesus Christ. This adoption is done according to the will of God and is an expression of His good pleasure. We are adopted into His family, and are now sons and daughters of God, with Jesus as our elder brother. This adoption is a sign of God’s great love and mercy, and a reminder of His faithfulness to His people.
