Interpretation of Ephesians Chapter 1 Verse 1

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, writes this letter to the saints in Ephesus and all the faithful in Christ Jesus. He begins by expressing his joy in God, who has blessed them with every spiritual blessing in Christ. He goes on to explain that God chose them in Christ before the creation of the world, to be holy and blameless in His sight. He also chose them to be adopted as His children through His grace, and to receive His glorious inheritance in the heavens. He then reminds them of the power of the Holy Spirit, which God has given them through faith. He concludes by praying that the eyes of their hearts will be enlightened, so that they may know the hope of their calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance, and the incomparable greatness of His power toward them.
