Galatians 5:12
The Bible in Galatians Chapter 5 Verse 12 says:
I would that they that unsettle you would even go beyond circumcision.
Interpretation of Galatians Chapter 5 Verse 12
Galatians 5:12 is a warning to the Galatians against those who are trying to persuade them to adopt a circumcision-based lifestyle. Paul is telling them to be wary of those who may be attempting to cause confusion or discord in the church. He believes that any teaching which goes beyond the gospel of Jesus Christ should be avoided. He also warns against any teaching which suggests that one must be circumcised in order to be saved, as this is contrary to the gospel. Paul is urging the Galatians to remain true to the gospel, and to not be swayed by any false teachings.
