Interpretation of Galatians Chapter 3 Verse 22
Galatians 3:22 is part of a larger passage in which Paul is discussing the law and its relationship to faith. He says that the law was given to shut up all things under sin, so that the promise of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ would be given to all believers. Paul is emphasizing that the law is not the means of salvation, but rather, faith in Jesus Christ is. He is saying that the law is a reminder of our need for a savior and that faith in Jesus is the only way to receive the promise of the Father.
