The Bible in Galatians Chapter 2 Verse 8 says:

(for he that wrought for Peter unto the apostleship of the circumcision wrought for me also unto the Gentiles);

Interpretation of Galatians Chapter 2 Verse 8

In Galatians 2:8, Paul explains that the same God who had called Peter to preach the gospel to the Jews (the “circumcision”) had also called him to preach it to the Gentiles. He was not relying on his own strength or power to accomplish his mission, but rather was relying on God’s grace. Paul wanted to make sure that the gospel was preached to all people, regardless of race or social status. He also wanted to make sure that no one felt excluded from the gospel because of their background or ethnicity. Paul’s message of grace and inclusion was a radical departure from the Jewish law, which made distinctions between the Jews and other nations. By emphasizing the universal nature of the gospel, Paul was setting a precedent for the Church that still stands today.
