Galatians 2:2
The Bible in Galatians Chapter 2 Verse 2 says:
And I went up by revelation; and I laid before them the gospel which I preach among the Gentiles but privately before them who were of repute, lest by any means I should be running, or had run, in vain.
Interpretation of Galatians Chapter 2 Verse 2
The Apostle Paul went to Jerusalem to meet with the other apostles and elders of the church. He went with the revelation of God that he had been preaching the gospel among the Gentiles, but he did not openly proclaim this to those of reputation, in fear that his efforts might have been in vain. He wanted to make sure that the gospel he preached was in line with the gospel preached by the other apostles.
