2 Corinthians 11:7
The Bible in 2 Corinthians Chapter 11 Verse 7 says:
Or did I commit a sin in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I preached to you the gospel of God for nought?
Interpretation of 2 Corinthians Chapter 11 Verse 7
In 2 Corinthians 11:7, Paul is asking if he committed a sin by preaching the gospel of God to the Corinthians without taking any payment for it. He expresses his humility in voluntarily sacrificing his own financial gain in order to serve them by teaching them the gospel. He is essentially asking whether his self-denial was a sin in the eyes of the Corinthians or not. In other words, he is wondering if they think he was wrong to not demand payment for his work.
