Interpretation of 2 Corinthians Chapter 10 Verse 9
In 2 Corinthians 10:9, Paul is reassuring the Corinthians that he is not trying to frighten them with his letters. He is trying to convince them of his genuine love and concern for them, and that he is not trying to bully them into doing anything. He emphasizes that his authority comes from God, not from himself, and that his goal is to build them up and encourage them to live in obedience to God. Paul is also reminding the Corinthians that he is not trying to lord over them, but rather, he wants to walk alongside them and help them on their journey of faith.
