Interpretation of 2 Corinthians Chapter 10 Verse 8
In 2 Corinthians 10:8, Paul speaks of the authority that has been given to him by the Lord. He states that this authority is to be used to build up the Corinthians, and not to put them down. He then says that in spite of his boasting about this authority, he will not be ashamed. Paul is emphasizing that he is only using his authority from the Lord to help and strengthen the Corinthians, not to make them feel inferior or humiliated.
