The Bible in 2 Corinthians Chapter 9 Verse 5 says:

I thought it necessary therefore to entreat the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your aforepromised bounty, that the same might be ready as a matter of bounty, and not of extortion.

Interpretation of 2 Corinthians Chapter 9 Verse 5

In 2 Corinthians 9:5, Paul is encouraging the Corinthians to prepare in advance and be generous with their previously promised offering. He is asking them to do this out of an attitude of generosity and not as a matter of obligation or compulsion so that the offering will be received with joy and gratitude. Paul emphasizes that the offering should be given out of a willing heart, and not out of a sense of obligation or obligation.
