2 Corinthians 9:4
The Bible in 2 Corinthians Chapter 9 Verse 4 says:
lest by any means, if there come with me any of Macedonia and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye) should be put to shame in this confidence.
Interpretation of 2 Corinthians Chapter 9 Verse 4
In 2 Corinthians 9:4, Paul is warning the Corinthians that if any members of the church from Macedonia come to Corinth and find that the Corinthians have not made the contributions he has been asking for, the Corinthians will be embarrassed and ashamed. Paul is emphasizing the importance of being prepared in order to avoid being put to shame. He is also stressing the importance of being generous and gracious in order to demonstrate the Corinthians’ faith and love.
