The Bible in 2 Corinthians Chapter 8 Verse 9 says:

For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might become rich.

Interpretation of 2 Corinthians Chapter 8 Verse 9

2 Corinthians 8:9 is a reminder to us of the incredible grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Despite being rich, he chose to become poor so that we could be rich. This verse calls us to remember Jesus’ sacrifice and to live lives of generosity and gratitude in response to his incredible gift. We are to use our wealth and resources to help others and to be generous in our giving, knowing the great sacrifice that Jesus made for us.
