Interpretation of 2 Corinthians Chapter 8 Verse 5
In 2 Corinthians 8:5, the Apostle Paul praises the Christians at Macedonia for their generosity and faithfulness in giving to the Lord. They had offered themselves, their resources, and their love to God, even though they were going through hard times. Paul states that this was done not out of obligation, but out of a willing heart, according to God’s will. He encourages others to imitate the example of the Macedonians and to use their resources to give to the Lord.
