The Bible in 2 Corinthians Chapter 2 Verse 7 says:

so that contrariwise ye should rather forgive him and comfort him, lest by any means such a one should be swallowed up with his overmuch sorrow.

Interpretation of 2 Corinthians Chapter 2 Verse 7

In 2 Corinthians 2:7, Paul instructs Christians to forgive and comfort those who have wronged them, lest the sorrow of the offender become so great that they are overwhelmed and unable to repent. He urges Christians to show mercy and compassion to those who have sinned, in order to help them find peace and reconciliation with God. Paul’s message is one of unconditional love and care, even for those who have wronged us.
