2 Corinthians 1:17
The Bible in 2 Corinthians Chapter 1 Verse 17 says:
When I therefore was thus minded, did I show fickleness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be the yea yea and the nay nay?
Interpretation of 2 Corinthians Chapter 1 Verse 17
In this verse, Paul is defending his integrity as an apostle of Jesus Christ. He is emphasizing that he is not a man of “fickleness,” or one who changes his mind quickly or often. He also states that he does not make decisions based on what is convenient or what is popular in the moment, but rather he decides based on what is right and true. He emphasizes that when he makes a decision, his word is his bond and his decision is final. He is not someone who will make a decision one day and then change it the next.
