Romans 6:16

The Bible in Romans Chapter 6 Verse 16 says:

Know ye not, that to whom ye present yourselves [as] servants unto obedience, his servants ye are whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Interpretation of Romans Chapter 6 Verse 16

Romans 6:16 is a warning about the consequences of our choices. It tells us that when we present ourselves as servants to someone or something, we become slaves to that power, whether it be to sin and death, or to obedience and righteousness. By choosing to obey either sin or righteousness, we are committing ourselves to follow its consequences. By choosing to obey God and His Word, we are committing ourselves to a life of holiness and righteousness, which brings eternal rewards. The choice is ours.
