The Bible in Romans Chapter 6 Verse 15 says:
What then? shall we sin, because we are not under law, but under grace? God forbid.
Interpretation of Romans Chapter 6 Verse 15
In Romans 6:15, Paul is asking a rhetorical question, emphasizing that just because we are no longer held under the Law, it does not give us free license to commit sin. Instead, he states emphatically that “God forbid” we should take such a course of action. Paul is emphasizing the importance of living a life of holiness, even if we are no longer held to the exact letter of the Law. Instead, we should strive to live a life of grace and mercy, showing love and compassion to others.
