John 12:34
The Bible in John Chapter 12 Verse 34 says:
The multitude therefore answered him, We have heard out of the law that the Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?
Interpretation of John Chapter 12 Verse 34
In John 12:34, the multitude of people were questioning Jesus about what He meant when He said that the Son of Man must be lifted up. They had heard from the Law that the Christ would remain forever and were confused about what Jesus meant. Jesus then explained that He would be lifted up in sacrifice, in order to bring salvation to those who believed in Him.
