John 5:45
The Bible in John Chapter 5 Verse 45 says:
Think not that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, [even] Moses, on whom ye have set your hope.
Interpretation of John Chapter 5 Verse 45
In this verse from the Gospel of John, Jesus is speaking to the Jews and warning them not to think that he will be the one to accuse them to God. Instead, Jesus points out that Moses is the one who will accuse them, as they have set their faith and hope in him. Jesus is telling them that they must be wary of the words of Moses, as they will be judged on the basis of those words. Furthermore, Jesus is also emphasizing the importance of obeying the law given by God and following the words of Moses.
