John 5:21
The Bible in John Chapter 5 Verse 21 says:
For as the Father raiseth the dead and giveth them life, even so the Son also giveth life to whom he will.
Interpretation of John Chapter 5 Verse 21
John 5:21 is a part of a larger statement Jesus made to the Jewish authorities in order to prove his deity. In this verse, Jesus is asserting that he has the same power and authority as the Father. He is claiming to have the power to give life to whom he will, which is a power only God has.
