Interpretation of Luke Chapter 11 Verse 12

This verse is spoken by Jesus as a rhetorical question when He is teaching the crowd about the importance of prayer. Jesus is asking whether a person who asks for something simple, like an egg, would receive something harmful instead, such as a scorpion. The answer is obviously no, and Jesus is using this to emphasize that those who seek God’s help will receive it, no matter how small the request. He encourages the people to be persistent in their prayers and never doubt that God will respond to them.
