Luke 4:41
The Bible in Luke Chapter 4 Verse 41 says:
And demons also came out from many, crying out, and saying, Thou art the Son of God. And rebuking them, he suffered them not to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ.
Interpretation of Luke Chapter 4 Verse 41
In Luke 4:41, Jesus is teaching in a synagogue when demons begin to come out of many of the people present, screaming that Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus immediately silences them, not allowing them to speak any further. He knows that they recognize him as the Christ and that to proclaim it in the midst of his teaching would have caused confusion and disruption. Therefore, Jesus rebukes them and prevents them from speaking, showing his authority and power over even the demons.
