Luke Chapter 4 Verse 7

Luke 4:7

The Bible in Luke Chapter 4 Verse 7 says:

If thou therefore wilt worship before me, it shall all be thine.

Interpretation of Luke Chapter 4 Verse 7

In Luke 4:7, Jesus is being tempted by Satan in the wilderness. Satan tells Jesus that if He will worship him, then he will give Jesus all the kingdoms of the world. Jesus responds to this temptation by quoting a passage from Deuteronomy 6:13, “Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.” In this passage, Jesus is rejecting Satan’s temptation and reaffirming His commitment to the Lord. He is demonstrating His faithfulness and obedience to God by choosing to serve Him alone. This passage reminds us that we, too, should remain faithful to God and reject any temptation that would lead us away from Him.
