Luke 4:3
The Bible in Luke Chapter 4 Verse 3 says:
And the devil said unto him, if thou art the Son of God, command this stone that it become bread.
Interpretation of Luke Chapter 4 Verse 3
In Luke 4:3, the devil tempts Jesus in the wilderness. He challenges Jesus to prove He is the Son of God by commanding a stone to become bread. Jesus responds by quoting Deuteronomy 8:3, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ By this statement, Jesus reminds us that we should not rely on material goods alone, but instead turn to God for our sustenance and guidance.
